Keep doing that – activating one more plugin and testing the RSS link – until the RSS feed no longer works. If it does, while still in troubleshooting mode, I’d advise you to activate Wordfence and test the RSS link. If I click the link to the RSS feed on your home page I get an new tab open but no content on it. If Wordfence was blocking you then trying to browse to the feed link would result in a blocked page that is clearly marked saying Wordfence blocked you and why.īrowsing to the RSS link now results in nothing. Users subscribe to feeds either by entering a feed's URI into the reader or by clicking on the browser's feed icon. RSS is a standard for publishing regular updates to web-based content. RSS feed data is presented to users using software called a news aggregator and the passing of content is called web syndication. It would be possible if you blocked people trying to access the /feed URL but I don’t think that’s the case. In brief: RSS is a protocol that provides an open method of syndicating and aggregating web content. Wordfence wouldn’t block feeds arbitrarily. ![]()
